Jenny Charchun
MACP, Counsellor
Jenny’s social work practice, spanning over 14 years, has provided her with a strengths-
based and person-centred foundation. Her integrative style is influenced by attachment
theory, narrative theory, psychodynamic theory and the principles found within self-
compassion, mindfulness, and somatic expression. Her fundamental belief is that our
personal history does not have to determine our future, and her goal is to create a safe
and compassionate environment where thoughts and feelings are processed to guide
you to your unique expression of self.
Jenny has a specialization in hospice palliative care and a deep interest in working with
older adults and others facing life transitions, life-limiting illness, and death – their own,
or someone they love. Other areas of compassionate interest include: perfectionism,
infertility, and complicated grief.
Jenny is grateful to have lived on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation
and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council for almost thirty years, and to have raised two lovely
humans here with her partner
