Stephanie Boyle
MACP (in progress), Clinical Intern
Stephanie grew up in the Yukon and feels deeply rooted in the Whitehorse community. She brings a strong appreciation for stories and narratives, and how these shape our identities, worldviews, and relationships. She is curious about how people make meaning of their experiences and how these meanings influence emotional patterns, relationships, and self-understanding. Her work is grounded in a collaborative, solution-focused, and trauma-informed approach, with a particular interest in attachment and emotion processing across the lifespan.
Stephanie supports individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions (with a specific focus on women’s experiences), relationship dynamics, grief, emotion regulation, stress, and the challenges that can arise during the parenting life stage. She takes a holistic perspective that recognizes the interconnected influence of mind, body, and spirit, and places importance on creating a counselling space that feels safe, respectful, and non-judgmental. With a background in human resources supporting first responders, wildland fire, and education, as well as a degree in Women’s Studies, Stephanie brings both practical and relational insight to her work. She is known for being compassionate, empathetic, warm, and present, and values psychoeducation as a supportive tool when it may help clients better understand themselves and their experiences. Stephanie views counselling as a collaborative and supportive process that can be part of an individual’s ongoing process of learning and growth.
